Often rated as the best beer in the world the Abt 12 is the flagship of St Bernardus. It pours a murky dark mahogany with a tan head. Aroma’s of dark fruits (raisins and plums), bready yeast and a touch of spice. The flavour is bold and strong with bready yeast and spice and the dark fruits coming through after a few sips. Definite alcohol and pepper in the long smooth finish. Truly iconic.
