The next evolution of our hazy pale offering sees us play around with Dip Hopping. This new technique of infusing hops in warm water, in the fermenter and before adding the wort removes the onion/garlic thingy; allowing the subtle hop flavours to come out. This time El Dorado LUPO and Idaho7 were Dip Hopped, while Talus joined this combo in the Whirlpool with some Galaxy added for the Double Dry Hop.
What we ended up with is a crushable, tropical beer for everyday dranking! Notes of mango and guava hit home first, followed by passionfruit, lime and a touch of coconut. The oaty base is soft and appealing with a dry finish. A touch more bitter-ish than previous iterations improves the drinkability and leaves you hankering for another quaff.
