Two Rebels walk into a bar and they order a Sour Beer... JR have teamed up with our mates at Little Rebel Coffee roasters to make a sour beer with a twist. Rather than coffee beans we have harnessed the cherry like flavours (and the caffeine) of the cascara coffee fruit. We also added some Butterfly Pea Blossom for a colourful burst! Sweet yet delicate cherry and plum flavours of the cascara berry are balanced by the refreshing tartness of a lactobacillus ferment. Beautifully electric purple from butterfly pea blossom. A kettle soured beer, brewed by inoculating fresh wort with Lactobacillus for a primary ferment to sour the liquid.
