This is ‘Beachbum’, it’s everything we love about West Coast IPA’s. Heavily hopped with Cascade and Simcoe for a punchy, pithy bitterness rounded out with notes of grapefruit. Layered on top of an eight grain strong malt backbone. Finished with a West Coast yeast BRY-97 to elevate hop bittering and aromas. Beachbum has a twist, it’s gluten free! We brew using ingredients containing gluten, but like Bandit our gluten free pale, we use a naturally occurring enzyme to break the gluten chains down to a level (sub 20ppm) that can be consumed by those intolerant to gluten. It allows us to keep all the body and mouthfeel, giving a well balanced, full flavoured beer.
