Stranger On A Train (Golden Sour Beer Aged in Oak w Yarra Valley Apricots) is their first bottle release of 2021 - and it is a doozy. To make the beer, one of our brewers drove to Rayners Orchards in the Yarra Valley, and within two hours, had collected the apricots, de-stoned and placed them in one of our oak barrels, and transferred our golden sour blend into said barrel with the apricots. Yep - farm to barrel, all within two hours.
Stranger is delicate with stone fruit aroma and hints of oak, whilst the palette is bright and sharp with notes of fuzzy fresh apricot skin, followed by it's sweeeeeet juicy flesh.
