Back in early 2016 Boatrocker created a beer that reminded them of a bourbon and coke. It was a scotch ale aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. They’re pretty sure this was the first beer in Australia to have used a different brands logo to suit the beer… And that brand was Royal Crown Cola… Remember ‘Me & my RC’? Probably not, as it hasn’t been around since the 70’s! So Boatrocker thought it was ripe for the picking, but instead of RC they changed it to BC, Braeside Crown Cola. Oh, and they put it in a can. Aromas of coconut, vanilla and bourbon, with cola highlights. On the palate, a luscious full body, with malt complexity, bourbon, coconut and cola notes. As with all good bourbon and coke’s, drink straight from the can and say what the heck!
